If there has been a loss or an accident, it is better to inform the insurance company about it as early as possible. At the same time, at the local level, any loss or goods stolen has to be reported to the police station and a copy of the police complaint document has to be retained by the customer.

If the loss of baggage has happened at the airport, the proof of the loss has to be reported to the airport authorities and get a written document about it.
